Online Competition Rules

1.  All players wishing to compete in the SDDA Online Competition must provide a valid mobile phone number. It will be shared with other players to arrange playing times via text message or phone call. More than one player can use the same mobile number if from the same household. Please use the "Register to Play" section to register.

2.  All games will be played using the n01 Online program, which you can find HERE. Games are 501 straight start, double finish. The program will automatically decide who has the first turn, rather than nearest to bull.

3.  The Online Comp is a Singles competition, each match is Best of 11 (First to 6 Legs)

a) Group 1 & 2 matches will be Best of 15 (First to 8 Legs)

b) Only the players listed in the fixture are to compete in matches, no stand ins or substitutes allowed.

c) Please use the webcam function integrated within n01 Online. If the webcam function is not working you must video call or Facetime your opponent on your mobile device & ensure the entire dart board is visible at all times.

d) If it is taking too long to complete matches, the number of games played can be reduced, but only with the agreement of both players.

4.  It is the responsibility of the players to arrange the day and time for when each match will be played during the week, using mobile phones or social media messaging.

a) If a day and time cannot be agreed upon, then the 'Home' player may claim an 6-5 win (8-7 win for Group 1 & 2), but proof that every effort was made by both players  to arrange  an agreeable time to play will be required eg. screen shots of messages sent & received.

b) If a player cannot make them self available for matches on three separate occasions, they will be removed from the competition

c) If a player has attempted to make contact with their opponent to arrange the match, but have not received any reply, the player who attempted to make contact can claim a forfeit 6-0 win (8-0 win for Group 1 & 2).

5.  There are two rounds played per calendar week. The round begins on Monday and the matches must be completed, with a result submitted, by the following Sunday at 10pm. We are only here for practice, so we try to be as flexible as possible, provided both parties agree, matches can be rescheduled for later in Season. But all matches will need to be completed by the end of the final round to avoid delays to Finals/

a) If the match is not completed on the date in the request, a 6-5 win (8-7 win for Group 1 & 2) will be awarded to the player that was present at the prescribed time in the extension request.

b) If there are discrepancies in the results submitted, use the "Contact" form to request investigation into the results.

6. The Player listed first on the Fixture will be considered the "Home" player.

7. The 'Home' player as listed on the fixture must submit the match results using the "Submit Results" section by 10pm Sunday, if no result is submitted then the 'Away' player will receive an 6-0  win (8-0 win for Group 1 & 2). Submissions are time stamped so don't be late! Both players are able to submit scores if preferred.

8. Two Match Points will be awarded for each win, these points determine ladder position. If two or more players share the same amount of match points, legs won & lost  (percentage) will be the tie breaker.

a) If legs won & lost is equal, who ever was higher on the ladder before the tie, will remain in the higher position.

9. Finals will be the same as the S.D.D.A regular season competition, with the top four qualifying for finals.

a) First round of Finals will see 1 v 2 & 3 v 4. The winner of 1 v 2 qualifies for the Grand Final, while the loser will play the winner of 3 v 4 for the remaining spot in the Final.

b) If there are enough players participating to have divisions, the two grand finalists will be promoted to the higher divisions, the bottom two will be delegated back one division.

10. This competition relies heavily on people being honest with scoring & finishing, we are all here for fun, no trophies are going to be awarded. Anyone found to be cheating will be expelled from the current competition and banned from all future online comps.
